Global warming occurs as a result of environmental changes due to human activities that cause the overuse of natural resources. Therefore, everyone is involved in solving this problem together.
Planting trees can help reduce carbon dioxide, increase oxygen, reduce global warming and be part of creating a carbon-neutral environment. So, this is an activity that everyone can do together to make our world a better place.
As SCI has realized the importance of such activities, SCI has organized the "Rak Nam Rak Pa San Tor Ngan Poh" (protect water, protect forests, and carry on the King Rama X’s work) initiative which has been operating for the 11th year on May 21st, 2023. This activity involved 200 people of SCI employees, locals, and a network of volunteers to plant mangrove forests at Laem Chabang Village, Siracha, Chonburi. We can plant up to a thousand mangrove trees, collect two tons of trash from the forest, construct fourteen crab pens, and erect a waste net fence near the mangroves.
SCI realizes that Greener Solution Provider is not only developing environmentally friendly products. It also means contributing to the rehabilitation and building of a sustainable green society.
